The American Cancer Society – Cancer Action Network and the Douglass Leadership Institute have partnered with Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) to present this roundtable discussion. \nThe Early Cancer Screening and Prevention Virtual Roundtable will highlight policy solutions that work to ensure Americans have access to cancer screenings -mammograms\, colonoscopies\, and innovative\, game-changing advancements for cancer patients – that promise to save thousands of lives every year. Early cancer screening is important because treatments are more limited when detected at later stages\, and outcomes are generally poorer.
