SUMMARY:American Cancer Society Virtual Roundtable\, Early Cancer Screening and Prevention
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our upcoming Roundtable event on July 10\, 2024 at 2:00 PM (EST). The American Cancer Society – Cancer Action Network and the Douglass Leadership Institute have partnered with Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) to present this roundtable discussion. \nThe Early Cancer Screening and Prevention Virtual Roundtable will highlight policy solutions that work to ensure Americans have access to cancer screenings -mammograms\, colonoscopies\, and innovative\, game-changing advancements for cancer patients – that promise to save thousands of lives every year. Early cancer screening is important because treatments are more limited when detected at later stages\, and outcomes are generally poorer. More than half of cancer deaths can be prevented by fully leveraging the knowledge\, tools\, and medical breakthroughs we have today. \nRSVP by clicking THIS LINK
